The regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held on this date with all members
present, Chairman William A. Finneran presiding.
SANTA CLAUS PARADE: December 3, 1967...to be held following Sunday if weather inclement.
A meeting was held by the Board with the parade com~i'ttee. The Board appointed William
McEvoy, Chairman of the parade committee and Dana Fisher, Parade Marshal. Mr~ Green
reported that the Hoard of Trade would sponsor the Snow Queen float and Mr. McEvoy said
that three banks would sponsor bands, some business men would have floats, the Cantral
Catholic Band would participate, and units from the South Lawrenc~ Christmas parade 'wou~d
be present. The Fire Station would supply the transportation for Santa Claus..

A request to be appointed a spare worker by Mary ~righton, 23 Baldwin St., was table~, for
one week,
