Cablevision company recommended that five or six leading citizens be appointed by the
Selectmen to serve on Board of Supervision for Cablevision activity.
GASOLINE STORAGE UNDERGROUND:
The Board of Selectmen approved petition to store gasoline underground at 200 Sutton
for Charles T. Matses. The pe?itiom was previously approved by.the Fire ~ie£, J. Daw.
GAS EXCAVATI~S:
Petitions 'were approved by the.Board to excavate for gas service~ on 14 G~ickerlng Rd.
and 324 Hillside Road.
CONDUIT LOCATI~:
A hearing was set on petition to install conduit on Sutton Hill Rd., Nov. 27, '7:30 p.m.
TO~N COUNSEL - BY-LAW: ~
A letter from Town Counsel advised that a change in the by-laws should be inserted in t~e
next town meeting. It wo~ld direct that the PLanning Board be responsible for all sub-
division contractors to leave roads in proper condition .to be accepted by the ~town and
that they. would have to p~ow enow on said streets until accepted by the to~n as a~Town-
Way.

The Board' of Selectmen held their regular meeting on 'this date with the 2-man Board present,
· ~mn William A. Finneran and Fred .P. Oakes.
PARKING BAN:
~he B card voted to have the winter-time, No- Parking ban go into effect at"midnite,!Dec.
1st and instructed.that the notice be advertised two nights prior to the ban.

A snow removal emerge~cey was declared by the Board on November~ 15, 1967,' at 1:00 P.M.
~UNITED NATIG~S DAY:
The Board voted to submit anbudget expense amounting to $200. for ~ Day activities in
1968.

Hearing to locate one pole on Longwoed Avonu~on Hillside Road was held. The petition was'
approved.
A hearing was set for Dec. 4, 1967~ at 7:30 p.m. for Joint location of a pole on ~Johnson St.
STREET LTGHTING:
A survey for improved street lighting on Great Pond Rd. and~ Sutton Street was approved.
GAS EXCAVATI~S:
4 petitions were approved, to exca~te for gas services on 91 Marblehead St., Brentwood
Circle, Timber Lane end Hillside Road.
Cable T~ Meeting:
