HIGHSCHOOL BASKETBALL TEAM: The Bu~rd of Selectmen ~.ted. to send a letter of congratulations and high commendation to. Coarch Licare and his Scarlet Knights team who wen the Little Three Championship and the Merrimack Valley Championship. Selectman Oakes said the fine sp~_rit, sportsman- ship and team work the bp~s have shown this year and in the past deserve the highest praise and. commendation from everyone in North Andover. Coach Licare~s fine coaching wes very instrumental to inspire the boys to be winners in every way. Approvai of a~ea filling for MaLay Garden Center. _~epresentative Hu--ell appeared before the Boa~'d ~o express his objections to ha~in~ shuttle service installed at the airport. Many had approached him, he stated, in protest citizen's homes would devaluate, noise of planes would be annffying, and smoke from Jets taking ~J~w.?uld ~.ureiy add to pollution of the air over North Andove~. Mr. Hur~ell also stated that he had filed a late bill for federal assistance on town pool ~ed for town area.
