STREET LIGHTS: - -
At the r.equest, of Mrs. Phil.ip Chase, 95 Campbell Road, The Board voted to have a. survey
for street lights in that vtc.inity.
A survey for stree~ lighting w4s received from Mass. Electric Co. for Belmont S~reet_
and the Board voted to have street lights installed on poles 1 -2-3-4 as indicated on map.

A street light ~eques.t for ~ohnson Street, tabled from last meeting, was voted to have
a survey made.

Mr. Barmen of the Planning.. ~oard appeared, before the Selectmen to inf~rm ~em ~f. a Ho~se,
Bill legislation ~ha~t would ta~e local con~rol away from the planning district.. The
Board voted ~o send a telegram to Senator Ruark protesting their opposition to the-Bill;
At the Con. Merrimack Valley. Pl~ning District meeting to be held in Methuen Town Ball,
Tuesday, April 30, at 8 p.m..Chairman Kirk will attend with Mr. Bamnon on the matter.

Mrs. john coldwell, 222 Pleasant St. complained to the Board. that. a.vacant ,l?~t,Lowned.by
McAl~on!s Package Store, was an eyesore as they left considerable ~bris fr0~ ~e"~t~
on it. The matter was referred to:the Building Inspector for investigation and ~rep0rt.~.('~
BUILDING INSPECTOR MEETING:
The ~oard met with the Building Inspector to discuss the Continuous violatiun'refpthe ~,~.
Town's ~y-Laws~ especially by Norman Scott. Board requested a copy of the. Byr.~Laws~..,an~
a llst of violators who had been contacted by the Building Inspector. The B~rd
also to turn over the mattar of N, Scott's violations to Town Counsel for proper -action.-

POLE PETITION:
