Agatha perry, 17 First Street, appeared befo=e the Board to complain about noisy tee
debris scattering and general disturbences around the Big S submarine place on First St.
The Beard voted to request the police department and the Board of Health to make a thozough
investigation of the complaint and to submit a report for next week's meeting.
G~URG~ VANDALI~:
Rev. Blanchard came before the Board to report acts of vandalism at ~his North parish Center
Church during the s~mer and stated it was still going on. The Board voted to have a re-
port from the police submitted on the alleged wndalism and to make more fre~uest patrols
cf the area to prevent future acts. occurring.

The regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held on this date with a twig-man Board
presiding due to the serious i~.lness of Selectman Fred P. Oakes. Selectman WiLliam A.
Finneran and Chairman Arthur P. Kirk presided. Ail biLls and payrolls and Warrant were
approved.
GAS EXCAVATI G~:
Petition was approved by the Board for gas excavati~ to repair gas mains on Middlesex S%.
corner of Waverley Road; Sutton St. at Se~rs; and 70 Harold Street.
Also petitions were approved to excavet on Bo~ord St. to install gas main and service.

~airman Kirk stated that a letter should go to Mr. James, architect, that all future
recommendations or approwls re the building of the n~* police station must be submitted
by Mr. J~mes in letter form.

~r. Patterson appeared before the Board to that improper building ~ms planned for property
adjacent to his home. The Board stated that the Building Inspector, Charles Foster, would
contact him to resolve the matter.
TRAE SER~!CE-BUS S~VICE:
It was determined by the Board to ~mite a letter to the NBT~ stating that they would like
the train com~uter service to extend to July, 1969; that an Article would be dra;.m by
T~m4Coansel for a special Tram meeting vote.
Chairman Kirk stated that, to date, the bus situation had not been resolved and that he
would contact To~m Counsel to protect the towa~s financial interest.

1962, and recorded at the Registry of Deeds for the Northern Registry District of Essex
County, Nasa., as Desk Plan No. 4705, were laid out by us as to~n ways, and
WHEREAS, our said Order of Lay Out was approved by the Town' by its action upon
Ar~cle .92 of the Warrant for its 1968 Annual Town Meeting, thereby establishing said laid
out ways as town ways, and
WHEREAS, a notiatien upon said plan refers to a portion of '~4ot 12,, of the,~riar-
cliff" subdivision, adjacent to said Sandra Lane, as a ,,temporary circle," the same being
shown on said plan without definitive boundaries,
NO~, TH~EREFC~E, it is hereby resolved and stated that the ways laid out by us, and
established by the Town, all as above set out, have, as their definitive boundaries, the
"solid" lines appearing upon said plan, that the area designated thereon, adJacen~ to said
Lot 12 as a ,,temporary circle," is no~ a part of said ways.
