HEARING NOTICE:
Notice was recived of a hearing for Roy Fart's petition for Garden-type apts. to be held at
Haverhill City Council Chambers, February 10, 1970, at 8:00 P.M. The Board, on Chairman
Finneran's motion, voted to send a letter to Haverhill City Councilmen, stating that there
could be no access from above-named apartments through Bradford Street, North Andover.
GAS EXCAVATION:
A petition was approved to excavate on Ongood Street, at Academy Rd. to install 2" regulato:

STREET LIGHTING:
a survey for Marbleridge Rd. and Mill Rd. was tabled again until next meeting.
SWEENEY VIOLATIONS:
A report on the Sweeney Violations from Building Inspector, Chax.les Foster, was to be
by Sweeney and submitted next week.
ADVISORY CONNITTEE - C.M.V.R.P.D.C.:
John Monterio, Planing Board advisor to the above-named committee stated he was resinging
that there would be a vacancy. Mr. Finneran voted to nominate Henry Fink to the position.
Mr. Kirk seconded the motion.
~ CANDIANO CONPLAINT:
The Board, having sent a lebter to the Highway Surveyor re Mr. Candiano's request for him
~.to inspect Autran Avenue to see if was passable making the residents of street eligible to
have town services, received a brief reply from the Highway Surveyor advising the Board
the ?situation had been resolved."

.The regular meeting of the Board of Selectmen was held on this date with all members

~ Roy FARR APARTMENTS:
~The Board voted to direct Town Counsel to take adequate action to protect the Town's
interests...that no town services or taxes to Haverhill be involved in any way if Mr.
Fart is granted petition to build apartment complexes, in Haverhill, which is adjacent
to the North AnHover line.

'The Board of Selectmen selected the date of February 10, 1970 to meet with the Capital
fOur,ay Committee and the Advisory Board.
LAKE COCHI~qEWICK. SPECIAL POLICE OFFICER:
A letter from Town Counsel re special police officer to patrol the Lake CochieheWick area~
stated that the State Dept. said that they have no official authority as far as the State
was concerned. That misdemeanors were taken care of by the regular police force of towns.
SPARE WORKER:
Agmes ~arsh, 162 Beverly St., Precinct III wa~ appointed a spa~e worker by the Board.
FREE CASH:
Notice of free cash allowed for the Town of North Andover in the amount of $~2~0~!~4~as
received by the Board.

ectmen at the Feb. "9 th meeting.

The Board was invited to attend aunual Governor's reception, Feb. 16, State House, Boston.
