The Selectmen held their regular meeting on this date with all members present; Selectmen
~oseph A. Guthrie, John F. Coady with Chairman John P. Kirk presiding. The warrant and
minutes were approved as submitted.
DUCT INSTALLATION:
A hearing was set for November 18, 1974, at 7:30 p.m. to install a 1-4inch duct on Elm St.
PATROI~AN LIST:
A request received from Chief Lawlor for Selectmen to send for a certified list from Civil
Service to fill Patrolman appointment.
TOPICS ~EETING:
A1 Jenkins, Pavlo Engineering Corp., requested the Selectmen to advertise that the meeting
on November 21, at 7:30 p.m. at the Fire Meeting Room would be a Public Meeting. N~tices
sent to all department heads concerned.

PERSON.VEL BOARD:
Notice received from the Personnel Board advising they would receive all petitions to
emend the Personnel By-Law for 1975 Annual Town Meeting up to and including NovemBer 29.
The Board Voted to send a letter to Town Counsel asking to be advised as to what the
Personnel Board's function is and the function of the Selectmen in the light of the new
Municipal Employee Bargaining Law. Also,~uat impact the law has on the Personnel Board,
in general.
Invitation to Kenics Corp. Open House, November 15, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Request from Planning Board to be advised when re-utilization of office space is considered.
Notice of Blood Mobile in North Andover~ December 8, 10 A.M. to 3:45 P.M. in Middle School
Cafeteria. Board authorized Chairman of the Blood Mobile, J. Guthrie, to advertise and
expend what was necessary for the event.
CA~R~ION HALL:
Letter received by Board from Brian J. Fitzpatrick protesting the sale of Campion Hall.
The Board voted to acknowledge letter and suggest he present his suggestions in an Article
for annual Town Meeting.
