NOTICE OF DECISION
Watershed Special Permit -Waiver

28,within the R-1 zoning district.
HISTORY AND BACKGROUND
On August 20, 2013 Brooks School, through its agent Brian Palm, requested a Waiver of the
Watershed Protection District Special Permit, in accordance with the North Andover Zoning
Bylaw section 4.136.3.c.ii.2, so as to allow the installation of a new transformer and transformer
pad within the Non-Disturbance Buffer Zone of the Watershed Protection Zone.
FINDINGS OF FACT
On behalf of the Planning Board, the Town Planner has approved a Watershed Special Permit
Waiver based on the following findings:
• The new location is approximately 200 ft. from the Lake and 50 ft. from an existing
stream.
• There will be no re-grading or vegetation removal. Excavation will be limited to that
required for installation of the new concrete pad.
• There will be no work performed within 50 ft. of a wetland.
• Sedimentation control will be installed prior to any work being performed.
• The applicant has applied for an RDA from the Town of North Andover's Conservation
Commission.
CONDITIONS '
• The proper erosion controls must be in place before the start of the project.
• The applicant must provide a copy of any decisions approved for this project by the
Conservation Commission.
• The Planning.Office will perform an inspection after the work has been completed.
