Description: We Shall Provide All Necessary Materials and Labor to Construct a Roof
Over the Existing Back Door Porch, Including the Following:
1. Frame a Shed Roof, Starting From Just Below the Eave of the Main Roof and
Sloping Slightly So That It Provides Proper Height At the Outer Edge of the
Deck,But Sheds Water Adequately.
2. Support the Roof With Turned Posts, Similar in Style to Those On the Front
Porch.
3. Install Eaves, Cornice,Trims to Match Existing House Finish.
4. Install Asphalt Roof Shingles Same As Possible to Existing Roof.
5. Use Existing Porch Footings to Support New Roof.
6. Truck Away All Job Refuse and Clean Up.
7. Provide All Necessary Permits, License, and Insurances.
Total Job Cost $ 5800.00
Terms: 25%Due With Signed Contract
Balance Due Upon Completion

Installation of Roof and Posts on existing Deck and Stairs
Conservation Conditions of Approval,NACC#140
Pursuant to section 4.4.2 0) (old form) of the North Andover Wetlands Protection Regulations,
Anne Gould and Mike Delaney,filed for a small project for work proposed at 92 Andover Street,
North Andover.The proposed work includes the construction of a roof supported by two posts
over an existing deck and stairs.The deck is within 50 feet of a Bordering Vegetated Wetland
(BVW) located to the southwest side of the house. However, the stairs and deck are pre-existing and
constructed prior to the North Andover Wetlands Protection Bylaw and associated regulations and
therefore a waiver of the 50-foot No-Build Zone is not required.
(Note:The delineation shown on the plan is not accurate and should be located closer to the stone
wall in the area closest to the proposed work.)
During the April 8,2015 public meeting, the NACC voted unanimously to approve this project. All
work shall conform to the following.

2. Excess construction material shall be properly disposed of offsite and accepted engineering
and construction standards and procedures shall be followed in the completion of the
project:
3. Upon completion of the approved project,please contact the Conservation Department for a
final inspection.
4. This permit shall expire six months from the date of issuance.
