Dear Mr. Dwyer,
The North Andover Health Department has received your request to conduct vacuum packaging
onsite at the Primehouse Meats located at 554 Turnpike Street. The Hazard Analysis Critical
Control Plan prepared by Cynthia Parenteau, of Berger Food Safety Consulting, has been
reviewed for compliance to the standards of the Food Code, section FC 8-201.14. This office is
appreciative of the attention to the requirements set by the Food Code in this regard, as the
request is well organized and complete. The Health Department is approving the implementation
of this plan and variance as provided for in FC 3-502.11.
Future inspections will include verification of full compliance to the approved plan. Please keep
documentation up to date, and accessible,to assist in the annual inspection process. Thank you
for your cooperation in maintaining the safety standards set by the Board of Health.
