The North Andover Board of Appeals held a public hearing at its regular meeting on Tuesday,February 14,
2006 at 7:30 PM in the Town Hall top floor meeting room, 120 Main Street,North Andover,Massachusetts
upon the application of Colonial Village Development Corp.d/b/a William Barrett Homes, 1049
Turnpike Street for premises at: 114 Academy Road(Map 96 Parcel 35),North Andover requesting a
Special Permit from Section 9,Paragraph 9.2 of the Zoning Bylaw in order to extend a pre-existing,non-
conforming two-family residential structure by converting the structure to a four-family residential
structure,by building an addition to the existing structure,and by building a detached 4-car garage. Said
premise affected is property with frontage on the East side of Academy Road within the R-3 zoning district.
Legal notices were sent to all names on the abutter's list and were published in the Eagle-Tribune,a
newspaper of general circulation in the Town of North Andover,on January 23&30,2006.
The following voting members were present: Ellen P.McIntyre,Joseph D.LaGrasse,Richard J.Byers,
Albert P.Manzi,III,and David R Webster.
The following non-voting members were present: Thomas D. Ippolito,Richard M. Vaillancourt,and
Daniel S.Braese.
Upon a motion by Richard M.Vaillancourt and 2na by Daniel S.Braese,the Board voted to GRANT the
applicant's request that the Special Permit petition be WITHDRAWN WITHOUT PREJUDICE. Voting
in favor:Ellen P.McIntyre, Joseph D.LaGrasse,Richard J.Byers, Albert P.Manzi,III,and David R
Webster.
