HomeMy WebLinkAboutCorrespondence - 673 GREAT POND ROAD 9/18/2000 MEMORANDUM TO: North Andover Planning Board FROM: Heidi Griffin, Town Planner RE: 673 Great Pond Road—Addition in the Watershed Protection District DATE: September 18,2000 The applicant is requesting to build a 300 square foot, 2 story addition to an existing dwelling within the Non-Disturbance Zone of the Watershed Protection District. The lot was created after 1994, and is 150' away from an adjacent wetland. The proposal requires a special permit as it involves the expansion of an existing structure by less than 25% of the gross floor area of the existing structure. 1. Erosion control such as hay-bales and silt fence should be placed between the addition and the adjacent wetland during construction. 2. All of the numerous zones within the Watershed Protection District (i.e. Conservation,Non-Disturbance and Non-Discharge Zone)need to be shown on the plan. 3. The plans need to be stamped by a registered professional engineer. 4. Documentation confirming the year the lot was created should be submitted for my files so there is no confusion as to which table of the watershed district this lot is subject to. 5. On behalf of our client, we are requesting an appointment with your board for a Watershed Special Permit. We hereby certify that there will be no significant degradation of the quality or quantity entering the wetlands, or Lake Cochicewick, due to the 150 square foot addition to the rear of said 673 Great Pond Road.
