Hi Kristine,
The intent is to create a 2'-4" retaining xvaU at the edge of the proposed pool. The |ovv side of the xva|| will be
excavated slightly to @UOVV the pOD| base to sit level in this area. On the Upper side of the wall there will be
crushed stone placed only tO the top Of the wall (not 8bove). Some slight transitional grading may berequired
OO the sides Ofthe retaining wall @tthe ends toprovide a proper grading transition tOthe existing site grade,
but this grading will be minor in nature. We are not p|@OOiDg to fill behind the retaining VV8U. The wall is
needed to support the excavation for placement of the pool....with the pool being set at elevation "101" some
sort Of wall was needed tO properly St8b|iz8 the existing grade Of103.33+/-. The crushed stone iS not fill...but
rather an attempt to pn3Olob5 storage/infiltration of rainwaters falling onto the deck. In effect, six inches Of
existing soil will be removed on the high side of the wall and replaced with crushed stone.
Hope this helps.

Hi Kristine,
| have looked 8titand just had one question are they planning tV fill behind the retaining watt and then add
stone on top of that and, if/ S0, what is happening along the sides? (Without fit[ it's not realty retaining YYaK' is
it?) It's not so much astU[DOYYdte[ issue (the stone under the deck should adequately compensate for the /
additional. impervious area), but itsh0Uid be clarified in terms of understanding and assessing OYera[[ impacts.
With regard to your previous question about D discrepancy in impervious area cdicUiatiOnS, | suspect that this is
because Jack is (apprOpridteiy) not counting the decking D3 impervious since iC has gaps and the stone under.
That's realty the only thing that changed between the two plans.

Other than that, | do not have anything tOadd. It sounds tike CODCOnO has 8i[e3dy conditioned that any discharge
of the pool water (e.g. at the end nf the season) be fully dechlo[iDdted, and |'O1 guessing that they have required
.
that any landscaping uti[ize native species.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions o[ need anything else.

Hello Lisa,
| am writing to see if you have had the opportunity to take a look ai the project on24ZDa|e5tneei. The homeowners
would like to know if there will be any other revisions to their plans as well as the final cost of the review so that they
can make some other financial plans for the project.
Also, due to the upcoming holiday—I am hoping to have all paperwork in early for the next meeting on July 7, 2015.
Thank you,
