At the request of Le.9h Higginbottom, 56 Meadowview Road, a site investigation was
conducted on and dround the above address.
A Bordering Vegetated Wetland was flagged(#1.#5). The nearest wetland flag is
approximately 195 f et to the southeast of the existing dwelling across Meadowview i
Road.
The wetland is a wo ded swamp dominated by Red Maples in the Canopy
Arrowwood, Green h and honeysuckle in the shrub/sapling and Sens t v'e Ferri,
Jewelweed, and Poi on Ivy in the Herbaceous layer. It appears that two catch basins
in the street DIW flolv into the area,
The proposed additi n is to be located in the current driveway and wouldn't appear to
have ony impact upon the Bordering Vegetated Wetland.

Dear Planning Board Members:
Environmental Designs has conducted a site review on 56 Meadowview Road as well as
on adjoining parcels.
The proposed garage addition is on the existing driveway with the only wetlands being
diagonally across the street.
Since the subject parcel is entirely within the non-discharge Zone of the Lake There are
no reasonable alternatives for the siting of the addition.
In our opinion there will not be any significant degradation of the quantity or quality of
water in or entering Lake Chocichewick.

At your request, an additional review ot'56 ,N/leadow-view Road as conducted. The purpose of
this review is to quantify the factors which substantiate this conclusion that the addition of a
garage at the above address will not adversely aftect the quantity or quality of waters entering.
Lake Cochichewick as a result of the construction at 56 Meadow-view Road,
1. I'he proposed construction is to occur 175' +(- away from a wooded s\v-,Mlp to the
Southeast of the project. An,/ additional runoff must travel down the driveway and roadside into
a catch basin before entering the wetland,
2. fhe wethuid M question in turn IS over 5 miles away from the Lake separated by
ru.1111e1`QUS wetlands which will serve as purif,ing sites for any runoffwhich enters them,
3. The proposed garage is to be constructed on an already impervious surface, a
drivtwaw,. Hence- little it'any additional runoff will occur.
4. A perimeter drain previously installed encircles the lot further ri-Litigating and
