Upon a request of William Barrett, Barrett Homes, 1049 Turnpike Street,North Andover,
Massachusetts on behalf of the property owners, William and Evan Yameen,the Planning Board
decided the modification of the Watershed Special Permit granted for 1895 Great Pond Road
on February 17, 1999 was not substantial. Thereby no formal application for Watershed
Special Permit is necessary. Applicant proposes to change the driveway layout and increase
the footprint of the residence such that there would be a 3,136 square foot increase in impervious
area.
This decision is based upon the following information:
■ Plan titled Modification Site Development Plan of Land in North Andover
dated October 2, 2002 last revised October 28, 2002 and stamped by
Planning Department on October 31, 2002.

I reviewed the proposed changes depicted on the site plan titled,"Modification Site Development Plan,"
which was prepared by Merrimack Engineering Services,66 Park Street Andover,MA 01810, Scale I"=40',
Dated October 2,2002 and revised on August 19,2003.
In accordance with Special Condition 1(b)of the Watershed Special Permit dated February 19, 1999,which
was extended on August 16,2000,1 hereby find that proposed changes are not substantial. Accordingly,I
am administratively approving your request.

I appreciate the time spent today going over the file
North?Andover, MA 01845 for 1895 Great Pond Rd. I am happy we.have found a
simple resolution for tbic matter and I hope the Board
Members concur.
As requested by you,I am writing to detail for you the
978 •682 •2320 design specifics of the stormwater leaching system as they
relate to the increased impervious surface. The hollowing
design changes will be implemented:

center island of the driveway

leach tank through a storm dram,cover.

New Honics
These three items will serve to collect all runoff from 01-je
Adclirions& additional impervious surface proposed in the new design
and recharge it into the leaching system. The improvements
Remodeling should alleviate any concern off added runoff into the Lake.
