Andover,Ma. 01845 The pool proposed shall have the following environmentally friendly systems: 1. Filtration system shall be a 450 sq. foot non-backwash type cartridge system. This filter cannot be backwashed(by design). There is no possibility of water from the pool entering the surrounding area. The filter is a manual clean filter. 2. The pool water sanitation system is a chemically free design that treats pool water with a dual purification system using ionization and ozonation. Many municipal water treatment plants across the country use either ionation or ozonation to purify potable water. This system produces water that is totally chlorine free. It is very likely that the water in the pool will be purer than when it comes out of the tap. Another benefit of this system is that no potentially harmful and unstable chemicals will be kept or stored on the property. This combination of filtration and sanitation is the ideal solution to the question of protecting the environment. Thank you. Company rustor a DEL Industries, based in San Luis Obispo, California, was incorporated as a California Corporation on March 5, 1975. For the past twenty-three years, principals of DEL have been involved in the $5.8 billion Swimming Pool and Spa Industry developing they first portable spas and solar pool blankets. Beginning in 1983, the company was restructured to include 0970NE water treatment in order to address increasing industrial and governmental emphasis on developing alternatives to chlorine. DEL's emphasis on OZONE technology has been rewarded, as OZONE is now considered the most viable and safest alternative to chlorine for l pool and spa water purification and sanitation. 8. J The company has expanded into home water purification and through DEL Industrial Division into industrial/commercial projects relating to f f waste water treatment. DEL has been ranked first in product safety and performance with Underwriter's Laboratories (UL), Edison Testing Labs (ETL is the UL equivalent for United States and Canada) and the National Sanitation f Foundation (NSF) certifications. Today DEL is considered the "Leader in Clean Water Technology." OZONE (0 ) HoW OZONE IS MADE OXYGEN (OZ) 3 Ozone is active oxygen, one of nature's very st ?Cial elements.
