Project description: enclosing an existing deck with a roof and four walls to create a three-season
room within 325' of a wetland
Non-Disturbance Zone (100" from wetland):
No new work proposed,there is an existing shed and lawn
Non-Discharge Zone: (325' from wetland):
Enclose existing deck
Infiltrator area
Mitigation: a system of gutters, downspouts and infiltrator chambers has been designed so that
additional runoff from the site is infiltrated into the soil. The capacity of the system is designed
to hold all of the run-off from the 100-year storm.
Issues:
• House is not currently tied into the sewer however it will be tied in as soon as it becomes
available.
• Letter from Sandy Starr—concerned that the infiltrator is too close to the septic system,
requests that infiltrator not be constructed until such time as the house is tied into sewer.

RE: 6 Timber Lane
In reviewing the site plan for a Watershed Special Permit at the location referenced above,I noted
that the proposed infiltrator system is located too close to the existing leach area. I understand that
municipal sewer is available across the street so would,therefore,recommend that commencement of work
on this infiltrator system be deferred until such time as the dwelling is completely tied into the sewer.
