application of Kenneth Campisi located at 134 Mablin Street (Map 006, Parcel 0058) North
Andover, MA 01845. Petitioner is requesting a Variance to construct a garage in the front yard.
Required front yard setbacks are 30 feet, proposed is 13 feet 6 inches, from sections 7.3 of the
Zoning Bylaw within an R-4 District.
Legal notices were sent to all the certified abutters provided by the Town of North Andover,
Assessors Office, and were published in the Eagle-Tribune,a newspaper of general circulation in
the Town of North Andover,on June 8,2010&June 15,2010.
The following voting members were present: Ellen P.McIntyre,Richard J. Byers,Daniel S
Braese,and Richard M.Vaillancourt. The following Associate members were present:Thomas
Ippolito, and Michael Liporto.
Upon a motion by Braise and 2id by Byers, the Board voted to GRANT a Variance to allow
from Section 7.3 of the Zoning Bylaw to allow the petitioner to construct a garage in the front
yard where setbacks are 30 feet, and the proposed is 13 feet 6 inches, from Section 7.3 of the
Zoning Bylaw within an R-4 District.
The following members all voted in favor of the Variance: Ellen P. McIntyre, Richard J. Byers,
and Richard M.Vaillancourt.
Those not in favor Ellen P McIntyre.

The Board finds that this use, as developed by the building & site plans, is an appropriate
location for such a use and will not adversely affect the neighborhood.
There will be no nuisance or serious hazard to vehicles or pedestrians,since there is provision for
the required off-sheet parking. Adequate and appropriate facilities are provided to the existing
residential dwelling and will be provided for the proper operation of adding the garage. The
Board finds that the addition will not be substantially more detrimental than the existing dwelling
