Watershed special permit application
Dear Lincoln:
Enclosed are 2 sets of revised drainage calculations for the above referenced property.
The calculations have been revised to reflect the 6" overflow pipes from the infiltrators in
lieu of the .5"pipes which were mistakenly modeled in the most recent revision. The
change does not have any impact on the calculations since the pipes are emergency
overflow pipes which do not see flow unless a failure of the system occurs. These
calculations have been sent to VHB for there review.
I will be at Your June 21, 2005 meeting to discuss this matter. If you have any questions
or need additional information please do not hesitate to contact this office.

The Applicant submitted plans,documents and calculations to VHB for review.The special permit �
submission was reviewed for conformance to the appropriate sections of the 1972 Town of North Andover
Zoning Bylaw reprinted inlg98 and standard engineering practice. The following comments note non-

following comments:
Section 4.136 Watershed Protection District
l. (3.b.ii.1) It appears that the drainage design conforms to the requirements of this section of the Zoning �
Bylaw.
2. (3.b.iv)VHB recommends that erosion control measures like hay bale and silt fence be provided on the
site plan.
3. There are two elevations labeled on one contour line(95 &96).The contour elevation should be
labeled uo97.The Applicant should revise this,
4. The drainage calculations stated that a 100 square-foot leaching surface be provided,The Applicant
should label dimensions ou the site plan.
5. The width of the leaching trench(2`)shown oo the detail does not agree with the scaled width unthe
site plan(4`).The Applicant's engineer should revise this accordingly.
