Meeting Minutes

Meeting was called to order by Ronn Faigen at 5:00pm.
Approval of Minutes
Chanida Orors was not present, and there were no minutes presented for review. Christopher McClure
took minutes for the 02/23/2016 meeting in Chanida’s absence.
Discuss Ascertainment Timeline and Process
CAC members discussed setting a date for the Informal Ascertainment Hearing in mid April. Members
discussed distributing the survey and meeting announcement and possibly distributing an announcement
via town water bills and at town elections. Members need to discuss the timeline and strategy with the
cable attorney, Bill August.
Old Business : Attorney Selection
Bill August has been selected as the Cable attorney and the town has signed a retainer for the duration of
this renewal process. Bill will attend a meeting in March to discuss the informal and formal ascertainment
hearing schedule.
New Business : Review online survey, Bill August Retainer Status
The committee reviewed and made suggestions to the online survey. The committee reviewed Bill
August’s retainer now executed by the Town Manager.
Other Business
The committee continues to discuss filling the final vacant seat.
Next Steps
● Select dates for informal and formal ascertainment hearings.
● Complete and publish survey.
● Begin data collection for ascertainment process.
● Meet with Bill August for timeline review and status.
