Both sets of documents have been revised to address the items in a letter dated 4/25/05 from VHB. The comments have been addressed as follows: 1. The zoning board is in the process of holding hearings regarding the variances requested. 2. The zoning board application has been revised to reflect the need for the additional variances noted. 3. Plan views of the infiltrator systems have been added to the detail sheet of the plans. 4. A foundation drain detail has been provided on the detail sheet of the plans. 5. The direction of runoff has been added to the haybale detail. 6. The pipe lengths have been added to the plans. 7. The piping system for the infiltrators has been added to the plans. 8. The time span used in the drainage calculations has been increased from 0 to 48 hours for all storms in the pre and post condition. 9. A second catch basin has been added on the south side of the driveway. 10. a. The time of concentration calculations have been revised to reflect the presence of the driveway. b. The swales have been modeled as channel flow. c. The pipe slope has been corrected. d. The storage in the infiltrators has been modeled more correctly. This office has obtained a more recent version of Hydrocad which models the chambers as embedded inside the stone. 12. Exfiltration has been eliminated in the calculations. Percolation test data has been provided on the detail sheet. 13. The pipe has been modeled as a 6"PVC with the correct manning number. The outlet pipe elevation has been revised to correspond with the top of the stone in the infiltrator system.A detail of the overflow pipe connection has been provided. 14. The calculations have been revised using a summation pond for the pre- development condition. I will be at Your June 21, 2005 meeting to discuss this matter.
