Meeting was called to order by Ronn Faigen at 5pm
Approval of Minutes
th 2016
Ronn Faigen, CAC Chairman made a motion to approve minutes of January 19. Paul Blinn seconded
the motion.
Discussion on Ascertainment Timeline and Process
● Christopher McClure announced that Bill August is available on March 15th and will be
attending the next scheduled CAC meeting.
● Christopher McClure stated that Bill August is in agreement that CAC should schedule informal
hearing in April’ 2016 followed by the formal ascertainment hearing in Fall 2016.
● CAC members discussed the location to hold informal hearing on April 12th. The choices are NA
school or Senior Center. It has been agreed and confirmed Senior Center as a preferred location.
● CAC members voted for the schedule for information hearing for Verizon License Renewal to be
at 7 pm at Senior Center at 7pm-9pm. All in favor.
● Christopher McClure made the motion to approve delegation letter. Ronn Faigen, CAC Chairman
suggested to make some corrections on date and place. All in favor. Paul Blinn seconded the
motion. The motion carried unanimously.
● Christopher McClure shared with committee that Verizon representatives will be notified and
invited but they are not obligated or required to be present for the informal hearing.
● Christopher McClure stated that some of the invites for the hearing will also include
representatives from North Andover School District.Christopher also stated that he will notify
them.
● CAC members discussed strategy on capital and budget proposal with Brain Fraser.Ronn Faigen
has asked Brian to provide overview on budget to better understand the peg fee’s implications.
● Chanida asked for timeline for survey and survey update. Christopher stated that survey will be
slated into Summer before the formal ascertainment scheduled in late Fall.
Old Business : Member Update
● Ronn Faigen shared the update on the new CAC members assigned to CAC. Ray Derise will be
joining CAC after his sworn in later this month. He will be replacing Arthur Fundeklain.
Next Step
● Meeting with Bill August on March 15th to finalize process and strategy for informal hearing.
● Christopher McClure to send invitation to all parties regarding the scheduled hearing on April’
12, 2016.
Adjournment
