Meeting was called to order by Ronn Faigen at 5pm.
Approval of Minutes
No minutes were ready for approval.
Discuss April 12 Ascertainment Hearing, Appointment Status of new member
● The Committee confirmed the ascertainment hearing will be April 12, 7pm at the Senior Center.
This will be an informal hearing, with a survey and formal hearing planned at some point in the
future.
● Ray Derise attended the meeting but is unable to vote until after he is formally appointed and
sworn in. He should be able to vote for the April 12 hearing.
Old Business : Confirmation and details of April 12 Ascertainment Hearing
● The committee confirmed that the hearing will focus on broad topics related to NACAM PEG
needs and plans and town department needs for I-NET funding.
New Business: Cable Attorney Bill August presentation and QA
● The committee agreed to have Bill August send legal notice of the ascertainment hearing to
Verizon.
● The committee also agreed to have the Selectmen approve the Notice Renewal and Delegation
Letter authorizing the Cable Committee to negotiate with Verizon on their behalf.
Next Step
● CAC Meeting and Ascertainment Hearing on April 12, 2016.
