I. Call to Order

II Accept minutes from February
III. Old Business
a. Schoolrecycling
1.Steve Daly reported that regarding Abitibi the St. Michaels School
makes $100 a month from paper and it includes paper from the school and
paper droppedoff.
2.Lisa Conti reported plastic utensilscan not be recycled.
b. NASWACreorganization
1.We discussed what roles we wanted to play, Martha projected with her
laptop and filled in names.
c. EAPapplication
1.Susan reported this is all set and we are number36 on the list and
should hear from DOER in late Fall
d. ICLEImembership
1.Per Susan ICLEI will send a bill and we can pay the $600 with the
Clean Energy Fund money.
e. Multifamily recycling
1.Bruce reported there is a snag with Northside and that they now say
they do not want to go off the public roads. However they have
already set up a dumpster at Ashland Farms and it is off the road.
2.Carolyn arrived but with no brochure.
3.Several different sites were discussed for pilot programsamong them
Village Green West, MeadowView and Brookside.
Action Bruce and Robby George to drive by and check out different sites and
Bruce will report back to us on which ones are feasible.
Action: Judy and Keith to update spreadsheet and distribute to committee
f. Singlestream education
1.Bruce finds that residents are still confused about single stream.Tim
Moulten, MarthaMittelstaedt and Lisa Conti signed on to this
committee with Bruce.
g. MunicipalRecycling Data Sheet
Action Bruce will email this to everyone.
IV. New Business
1.Tim gave his experience with the Kill a Watt and showed us how it worked.
Reported they are available on Amazon for about $40.
