FinCom Members in Attendance: Chairman Mike Batsimm,Vice Chairman Melinda
Coppa, Steve Dawe, Ellis Fitzpatrick, Mike Giarratano, Eva Hamori, Mark Nichols.
Others in Attendance: Citizen B Fink,Town Manager Mark Rees and the Misses Coppa.
I. CALL TO ORDER at 6:17 P.M.
II. OLD BUSINESS
Approval of Minutes of September 20th meeting was deferred to October 12,
2oo6 meeting.
Memorandum of Agreement:
There was discussion regarding the additional information requested at the
September �5 h meeting. Mike Giarratano made a Motion to commend the
Selectmen for their recommendation to spend the $250,000 in non-certified
cash on teaching staff,while declining the invitation to sign the Memorandum
of Agreement. Vice Chairman Coppa seconded the Motion and it was passed
5-2,with Messrs. Nichols and Fitzpatrick voting no.
III. NEXT MEETING— scheduled for October 12, 2oo6.
Additionally,the meeting after the 12th was scheduled for October 26.
IV. ADJOURNMENT
Motion by Eva Hamori, second by Steve Dawe at 6:46 p.m.
