Special Meeting
The I~_A~Q BOARD held a ~pecial Meeting on ~aturday, April 23, 1~77 in the Middle
~chool Audi%oriu~ at 12:30 P.M. The following members were present and voting: Paul R.
Lamprey, Chairman; William N. Saleratus, Vice-Chairman; Michael P. Roberts, Clerk; William
Chepulis; a~d John J. Monteiro.
ARTIOLE 35 - Notion to strike~ the Article by Mr. Saleratus. Mr. Roberts seconded and the
vote wa~ lmanimous.
ARTICLE 37 - Motion by Mr. MonteirO to reoo~mend favorable action. Mr. Saleratus seconded.
A discussion followed in which members cited pros and cons of two-~cre zoning. VOTE: in
favor, Monteiro and Salemme; opposed, Roberts, Ohepulis~ Lamprey.
Dick Kulpinski stated that the Advisory Board would like to take the Planner position out
of the Personnel ]~y-Law in or,let that he can Be re-evaluated nex~ year. 0onnie 0onnors
Brought up the fact of fringe benefits. Kulpinski stated that the person is an employee
of the Town and the ~electmen did it for Brian Sullivan. They use ~ployee ~enefits ~ioh
co,es frc~ the Town Treasurer. VOTE on recommendation of Advisory Board: motion of Mr.
Mon~eiro, second by Mr. Salemme, nna~imous.
Meeting adjourned at 1:30 P.M.
