Meeting Minutes 7/27/17
NA Town Master Plan Committee
Present: Tom Zahoruiko, Scott Hammond, Norma Lochmann, John Watters, Gary Sidell, Erin
Stevens, Diane O'Connor, David Stroh, Christina Minicucci
RKG Associates: Eric Halvorsen, Jen Goldson
Staff: Rebecca Oldham
• Committee member introductions
• RKG was retained by the Town to review the existing master plan, and inventory and
assess the existing conditions in the following areas — Land Use; Natural Cultural and
Historical Resources; Transportation and Circulation; Economic Development; Housing;
Open Space and Recreation; and Public Service and Utilities.
• Eric Halvorsen reviewed project schedule.
• RKG toured the town, will meet with town departments and committees, and review the
existing master plan. Will produce an existing conditions plan by end of summer.
• Late October/Early November, Jen Goldson and RKG will lead a public meeting to
present their findings and solicit input from the community. Eric Halvorsen will work with
town officials to finalize date, time and location based on the availability of community
space.
• Jen Goldson presented the community outreach timeline to the committee.
• Committee members will assist in the outreach.
• Committee will hold a meeting in August to create a communications plan. Norma has
agreed to assist in the creation of a communications plan. Rebecca will work with Eric
Kfoury and Jean Enright to ensure they can attend.
• Committee to appoint a Chair and Secretary next meeting.
Tom Zahoruiko made a motion to adjourn meeting, Christina Minicucci seconded, motion
passed unanimously.
