SITE VISIT: 122 Foster Streets North Andover Varsity Wireless: Application for Wireless Facilities
Special Permit—Site Plan Review under sections 8.9 and 8.3, 10.3 and 10.31 of the North Andover
Zoning Bylaw. Applicant proposes to construct, operate and maintain a 130 foot monopole tower(135
feet to top of faux branches)with supporting equipment located in the Residential 1 (R-1)Zone.
Planning Board Site Visit (No Deliberation)
According to Section 8.9.5.v(7)of the Town of North Andover Wireless Service Facilities Bylaw, an
applicant for a new Wireless Facilities tower requesting a Special Permit from the Planning Board is
required to perform a balloon or crane test, at the site of the proposed tower location,to illustrate the
height of the proposed tower. Varsity Wireless has applied for such a Wireless Facilities Special Permit
to be located at 122 Foster Street in North Andover and will be conducting a balloon test on Saturday,
September 23, 2017,between the hours of 8 AM and 12 PM. If there are any questions about the test
and/or about the application,please contact the Planning Office at 978-688-9535.
