as submitted.

recommending the appointment of Mr. John L. Roberts as associate member.

from the apartment of Natural Resources with reference to filling in
the pond of George H. and Wanda H. Farr.
7. Index «and M Messrs, Roberts and Root presented a verbal progress re-
port of their efforts in preparing a map and land index. Being plotted
on the North Andover zoning map are the open areas: town., state and in-
stitutional. A further progress report will be presented at the next
meeting. A planning board map was leaned to the group to assist in the
preparation of a Conservation Map,
8* The need for a fund was not debated but the amount to
be requested initially ranged from $1500 to �kIOOOO. After a lengthy dis-
cussion., it was moved, seconded and unanimously voted to insert an article
in the 1968 Town "Warrant requesting the appropriation of $5000 to establish
a Conservation Fund. The article is to be submitted to the Selectmen be-
fore 9:00 PM 15 January, 1968 when the Warrant is scheduled to be closed.
Mr. Roberts is to prepare and submit the article.
