Subject: Minutes of meeting 15 April 1968,

was called to order by the chairman at
7:45 PM in the Tres Warden's office.
2. Meml��
M_P rLt Messrs. Lordan,9 Chepulis, Lafons lewis., Root & Robee.
3, Members Absent: Mrs Demers and Mrs. Kittredge.
4- Minutes: The minutes of the meeting of 18 March 1968 were approved as
;*u_bmitted.
5. Hatch Act: Verbal approval of HeClayfs Garden Center's request to fill
wetland was given by Mrs Lordan to the Board of Selectmen and Town Clerk.
6* H.A.C.C.: The annual meeting of the M.A,C.C. was held March 30, but no
member o,f the Commission attended. The 2nd spring meeting is to be held
May 11 in Chicopee. There were no volunteers to attend this meetings
7. E.C.G.B.A.: Notice was received of the annual meeting of the Essex County
6r_eari�eit Association to be hold April 24. An invitation to 3oin the
Association was also received. It was voted not to join. There were no
volunteers to attend this meeting.
8. Trails: No action was taken sines the North Andover Improvement Society
eras not contacted for a diseusbion. It was recommended that the N.A.I.S.
be invited to send a representative to the Commission's next regular
meeting on May 20.
9* Conservation Fund: Notification was received 25 March 1968 from the Town
d'le—rk'"Yo–:Ri-t—l]F"Viirify-ing the Town 'Meeting action to appropriate 95000 to
establish a Conservation Fund. Mr. Lordan will contact the Town Treasurer
to deposit the money,
10* M.F.P.A.: The legislative alert flyer of the Massachusetts Forest and Park
Xs`sociAion announced the status of pending billboard legislations There
was no motion to -write to legislators by the Commission. Messrs. Root and
Roberts had written as individuals.
110 Election of Offieers: Mrs Lordan announced that the annual election of
officers will be held at the next meeting.
