Subject-, Minutes of meeting 26 June 1968,
1, The fifty-sixth r9ingar meeting was called to order by the chairman at

20 Members Present: Messrs. lordan,, Chepulis., Lafond., Root and Mrs. Kittredge.
3. Uembers Absent: Messrs. Demers, Lewis and Roberts*
4. Minutes.- The minutes of the meeting of 27 may 1968 were approved as
submitted.
5. Com=ieations Sent: Letter dated 31 May 1968 to the Board of Selectmen
confirming the verbal report given to the Board 27 May 1968 on filling
certain low areas under the Hatch Act,
6. Election of Officers: The election as not hold at this meeting due to
(iT5ek offullmembership present and (2) the possible change in mem-
bers'hip in the near future. It was voted to table the election until the
next regular meeting.
7- Missile site: Messrs. Lordan and Chepulis gave verbal reports of the missile
site meetln—g hold 5 June 1968 between the Army and area town officials. This
meeting was of an exploratory and descriptive type and not one of co gent.
8. Vwl,' Book-, On Mr. Root's motion it was voted to: purchase the "Owl" bookp
co-authored by Jack Holt,$ formerly of the North Andover Tree Departments
for the Stevens Memorial Library if it had not already been acquired. Mr.
Lafond is to perform the task.
9. Adjournment: The meeting was adjourned at 906 Pm.
