1. Meeting called to Order 7:55 PH.
2. 1 iai (w Complaint try Mr. George Perna, aa.rnum Street re: Raleigh Tavern development,
flooding situation caused by inadequate drainage. Mr. Che pul!_:i. s reported that
Ben Osgood had brought plans before the Paa.nna.ng Board for correction of
drainage in. certain areas. It was not certain if this was one of them. It
was decided .to discuss the problem with the Highway Surveyor and to check over
plans on file.
3. Land Acquisition.
A. Mr. Lv.fond reported on the site inspection of Ray's Pond by fair. Flank
Columbo of DNR. He would recommend DNR reimbursement for these parcel
but felt that the Commission's estimates were too low.
Mr. Laafond also started that negotiations with the Maazurenko'Nis were
proceeding rather slowly.
B. Mr. D'Angelo reported that Mr. Farr would be willing to sell his parcel.
on Salem 3treet for 116,000. He Would not; consider as Conservation
Easement on the swampy area if purchase were not GJ.f?1woved.
C. Mr. Resca reported that one owner on forest Street would not accept the afar:raa:i. .bW
price :for bin property. lair. Rescan wns unable to contact the owner of

D. Mrs. Kittredge tre£:ge reported that negotiations iaa.tiona:s we re still under way with

the Globe Stream and Field Club and that the anticipated price would be
l.ower than estimated.
E. Mrs. Trembly reported that Mr. Steinberg would consider an offer closer
to 1501000 for the Pay's Pond property. It, was decided after aa. discussion
of lakeside land values to increase the offer closer to 'a`�40 9000.

In general, land negotiations were to continue until the next scheduled meeting
