HomeMy WebLinkAbout1976-11-30 Conservation Commission Minutes NORTH ANDOVER, AIASSACULTSE'ITS 01845 4 Yj'. -9 4;Cii6 Minutes of the Meeting of November 30, 1976 A meeting of the North Andover Conservation Coi-inission was held on Tuesday, November 30., 1976, in the Tree Wardens Office at the North Andover Town Garage. The following members were present: Vincent Turano, Patricia Trombly, Leo Lafond, Joseph DIAngelo, Henry Fink, John Gaffny and Mike Smolak. Chairman Turano called the meeting to order at 8:10 P.M. 1. Winter 14111 Estates: It -was voted that the appeal period for the Orders of Conditions had passed and apparently have not been appealed. 2. Great Pond Woodland: The Notise of Tntent has been received and n F the public hearing will. be December 15, 1976. uonaents on the area will be requested from the Soil Conservation Service and others, 3. Salem Forest: It was voted to send a letter to George Farr list- ing his multiple violations and notify him that unless coi-rective action is taken as well as supplying the Commission with requestbd information, that his permit will be revoked on December 13th. Copies of this letter twill be sent to the Selectmen, Building Inspector,, Frank Gelinas and d E.O.F. 4. Appleton Street: Cease and Desist Orders have been sent out on lots 2, 3, & 5, but have been ignored, The Building Inspector will be asked about the possibility of not issuing an Occupancy Permit,until the wetland violation is resolved. 5. Boston Brook: It was decided that the Selectmen would be approached about legal action over the continued 'ijetland violation by George Farr. will l11 also be approached. b. Trafalgar ="state: The Planning Board has requested comrmmVs It was noted that because of the complexity of the drainage that a drainage consultant should be consulted. 7. New Business: It was voted that the Commission would become a member of the Ipswich River VAtershed Association. Chairman Turano stated that because of his work load he will have to resign the chaffreanship, but gill stay as a member.
