HomeMy WebLinkAbout1950-07-05Meeting was called to order by the Chairman at 8..00 P.M. in the Town Building.
This meeting was held a t the call of the Chairm~u and at the request of Mr.
Duffy~ of the Board of Public ~orks in order to clear up the situation ef
the la~out of Princeton Street.
Members present.- ~eter Ritchie, Chairman, Richard G. Whipple, Secretary~
~regory Mooradkanian , L~man H. K_~lton an~ Edwin Reinhold.
The Chair~ read a letter to the Board received from James T' Poor, and
alse a copy of a ~et~ter sent to the Board of Selectmen from Mr. Poor~
tendering his resignation from the Planning Board~ effective June 10, 1950.
Motion was made and s~conded that a letter be sent to Mr Poor acknowledging
his resignation and thanking him for his services, and cooperation in the p~st.
Mr. Duffy was present at this meeting and a discussion of Princeton Street was
held. Motion was made and seconded that this matter would be taken under ad-
visement until f~rther checki~ could be done. --- - --- - ' '
~ ' '' . Mr. Dungy was informed that the Planning Board
would send him a letter giving their decision on Princeton Street within a
week or ten days. Mr. Duffy then suggested that the Planning Board hire a
ccusultant to work with them to get problems of this kind straightened out.
Motion was made and seconded and it was VOTED to instruct the Chairman to
get all information necessary relative to getting the services of a Planning
Board 'consultant to work ~ith the Board.
Motion was made and seconded to a~Journ the meeting and that the next meeting
would be held at the call of the Ghairm=n. ~
