Be public Hearing was called by the planning Board to consider a l~epesed
amendment te ~he Zo-~ng By-Laws of the Tewn of North Andover, The P~blic Hearing
was advertised in the Evening Tribune on Ju~ 27 and August 8, 1953.
It was preposed to ~aend the ~-oning ~-Laws of the T~ ef NOrth Andover ~y adding
the follewing Article te be knewn as Article 5-A reader General Provisions aa follows~
"Az~ structure for living accomedatiens which shall be erected, placed er mainta4~ed
in az~ district ef the Town~ shall have a first fleer area ef at least 450 square feet".
There was n~ epposi~ion te ~ proposed amendment,
Mo~iea was rode and duly seconded and it was VOTED by ~ rashers presen~ to appreve
the l~e~posed a~endment as stated above. It was also voted that the Boart oend their
~ecommendation for the approval of t~is amendment to the Board of Selectmen and te the
S~eolal Town Meeting to be held i~ the near futures
A diaousoion was then held relative te the application of M.T.Steveas fer the approval
of the layeut of P~ps Court, The Board had hasked that a report be given on %he
sewer cemiitions on this street ~ Mr. Duffye Mr. Duffy then suggested ~hat the
Planning Board ~aet with the Bc~rd of Public Works en August 13~ 1953 ~d disousa thio
preblem with them,
Metion was made and seconded ~ad it was veted that the Planning Board would be glad to
· ~eet with the Board of Public ~orks e~ August 13~ 1~53, ~'
~tion was then made and seconded and it was veted to held a special meett-£' en August
24~ 1~53 %e vebe sa the applicatien ef M.T. Stevens fer the apprew~ ef Phillips Courts
Motion was made an~ seconded and it was voted te adjourn the ~eeting at 9=30 P.M.
