HomeMy WebLinkAbout1956-09-10180 September 10, 1956 The clerk was asked to notif~ the Massachusetts Federation of I~nning Boards, Dana Place, A~berst, Mass., of the names and addresses of the members of the Planning Board of North Andover. The Board signed a voucher for $5.56 for the Sullivan Typewriter Company for repairs. There was discussion concerning the minutes of December 22, 1956 regarding Mr. Colgatels plans. The clerk by looking up the stenographic notes of .the saiddate found as follows: That the plans be approved subject to presentation of an easement which is to be approved by the Planning Board. Ail in favor. The Board took leave at this time to meet with the Selectmen, per the Selectmens' request. Mr. John T. Blackwell accompanied the Board. The purpose of this meeting was not disclosed. The Board upon return commenced with the Colgate matter further.. Mr. Barman stated, that the Boardcould not approve the turn around. He further stated the Boardwas plan~ng ahead, and therefore must provide for a comuection with a turn around. Mr. Blackwell, at this point, took the floor and stated "subject to presentation to the Planning Board of a plan of an easement for drainage between a point between stations 6 and 7 on Colgate Drive proposed, and a point on Moody Street such that the pipe storm dr~tB can be connected to the storm drain on Moody Street." The Board aid not agreewithMr. Blackwellts statement. It was brought out that some of the lots were smaller in size tb~ the Town has approved in that area. Mr. Blackwell queried as to if the owner cottld have the plan recorded at the present, and suggested taking advice of counsel. Mr. Bannan made a motion that the Chairman sign the. restrictions of the Plsn~tng Board on the Colgate plans. No one seconded this motion. Mr. Finck stated that he will prepare the conditions to go on the Colgate plans. Secretary Osgoed wrote the following on the Colgate linen copy: Approval of this plan is granted by the North Andover Pl~=~-g Board subject to and restrictions concerning storm drainage easement to he recorded herewith: conditions It was discussed that seven copies of black and white plans and one linen would be required by the Board in the futUre~ They will be divided as follows: t b lack and white and linen to the applicant 1 " " I " " 1 " " "to the Town Clerk "Board of Assessors "Planning Board file "Building Inspector "Board of Public Works "Highway Surveyor
