Special (Closed) Meeting

The meeting was called to order at 7:50 P.M. The members present were:
Nicholas F. Nicetta, Chairman; J~Jaes M. Bannan, Howard L. Gilman and Robert J.
This meeting was called in order to make the final corrections to the
Zoning By-Law. Mr. Bannan read the letter from Mr. Blackwell concerning the
Boardts visit to his office regarding the changes in the By-Law. The amend-
ment concerning animals is ~nder question. The Board will also check on the
siz~ of corner lots in the Village Area. Mr. Gilman made a motion to accept
the amendments subject to corrections to Sections 4.17 and ?.23. Mr. B~rke
Seconded the motion and it was un~Eously voted.
Mr. Lenley Henshm% Johnson Street, requested information from the Board
concerning the Boardts requirements of the measurements of a road-way. He was
informed that the minimum size of a road is 40 feet.
~. Barman read two letters from the Board of Public Works concerning the
Suburban Household Enterprises and Vincent McAloon. He also read the notice and
decision from the Board of Appeals concerning the approval of the Ski Tow.
A letter ~ be sent to American Surety Company requesting them to submit
all future Inquiry Forms in duplicate.
Mr. Nicetta read a letter from Town Clerk John J. Lyons regarding the latest
appointments to the Board of Appeals. Donald F. S*~ith was appointed on July 1,
1957 and sworn in on July 8, 1957. John J. ~fillis was appointed on July 1, 1957
and there is no record to this date of his being sworn in. The By-Laws were
approved on June 28, 1957.
Atty. Bradley will contact the Board regarding the court session.
The Clerk was instructed to purchase a clock for the office.
Mr. Nicetta signed the minutes book.
