Special Meeting
The Planning Board mst at 7:45 wi~=h Atty. Arnold Salisbury. The following members
were present: Nicholas F. Nicetta, Chairman; John B. Osgood, Secretary; James M.
Barman, Howard Gilman and Robert F. Burke.
The Board met with Town Couns~ in order to discuss sponsoring an article for
the Warrant for Annual Te~ Meeting to reclassif~ the lsnd that was rs-zoned at a
special To-~ Meeting in September 2?, 1957 for the purpose of erecting a Gardem
Mr. Osgoo~ stated that they kn~ nothing about the intontions of ~17 States of
Virginia Corporation. If the Board does not act, there is no other wa~ to protect
the town. The Board discussed the m~srepresentatica that had been made.
Mr. Barman made a motiou that the Planning Board sponsor the following article:
"That the Zoning By-Law and the zoning map of the town be mended by reclassifying
the foll~.lng described parcel of land from a General Business District to t~be
Co~utry Residence and Rural Residence Districts of ~bich it was a part prior to
October ?, 1957: etc." the description to be the same as before.
Mr. Osgood seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous.
Mr. Osgood made a motion to hold the hearing for reclassifying on February 3,
1958 at 8:00 P.M. Mr. Burke sec~aded the motion and the vote was unanimous.

meeting adjourned at 8:45 P.M.
