~he reg~lar~mo~thly meeting oi the Planning noara was held on
april 7, 1958 a~ 7:30 P~ in the ~own Building.
~emOerz p~esen~ and voting were hicholas .F. ~icetta, Chairman;
John ~. Osgood, ~ecretary; ~ooert 0. ~urke, Ro~ L. Gilman an~
~ames m. nannan. Mr. John T. Blackwell was also present.
A letter was read from the American ~urety Compar~y requesting in-
formation on cont2act 04-570-684. ~he Ooard decided a letter should
0e written to American Ourety Gompan~ suggesting they contact the
~utton Rill Gompany of Lawrence, ~ass. for this information as the
Planning ooard did not have th~ information requested.
A letter was ead by Mr. Osgood from Herrick, Smith, Donald, ~'arley
andKetchum dated March ll requesting the plan of ~he ~dward E. Green-
~ood property ~e stamped. The ~oard voted ~o send a letter requesting
a cop~ of the plan for the fil~s.
A bill I~rom zttorney Xrhold ~alis~ury was received by the Board and
was voted ~o be turned over to the ooard of Oelectment ~or payment.
A letter from the ooard of Oelectmen was read by ~Jr. Osgood requesting
~l~e Ooard to attend a meeting on April 7 regarding the Lantern ~orp.
~r. nannan~made the motion for 'the ooard ~o organize for 1958. Nr. Gil-
man seconded ~he motion. The vo~e was unanimous.
Rominations: The nomination of ~r. ~Luan for Ohairman of the Boarm
was mame oy N~. Gilman anm~seconded by ~. Burke. /~r. Osgood nominated
~r. Nioetva. The vote was unanimous by the Board ~k'. Bannan woulm be
~hairman. ~r. Osgood nominated ~r. ~urke for ~ecre~ar~ and the nomi-
nation was seconded 0j ~r. Gilman. The vote was unanimous. A letter
will Oe written to the ~epartment of Commerce informing them the
mem0ers o~ the Ooard for this yeaz~.
A mi~cmssion was held re~arding the printing p~ the ~oni~g~B~-l~ws.
