Bannan, Chairman, Robert Burke, Secretary, Howard Gi]~n, Jolua Osgood and Nicholas Nicetta. A letter wr:s road by Lit. Buri-~e from i.~r. ~arty, Mr. Nicetta moved to table action on t~bis letter until the ne~ re~2sr monthly meeting. Mr, Burke seconded the motion. Unanimo~s vote. ~dr. Nicetta moved to adj:,urn the meeting end continue sa~:e at the Fire House. l[r. Gilman seconded the motion. Unanimous w~te. The meeting st the Fire House was calle~ to order at 8:10 PM Mr. Burke read the legal notice regarding the rezoning of land from Country Residence to Vi!togs Residence on Chickering Road. William Moren, Alfred Gardyna, Ho~ard Beely, Joseph B~:~on, EcLmund McOue, i.frs. Janet Lincoln and ~rs. Frances ),[c~e~',~ all spoke in opposition ts the rezoninE as they stated they purchased homes in this area because cf the large lots and all asked the reason for the proposed change. Mr. Nfcetta stated he was absent from the meeting that pro~cosed this hearing and said he was opposed to this chef,ge zmtil sanituryfacilities have been installed in the area. Mr. Osgoed steted h~:~was present at the ~eeting that proposed the hearing and voted in the minority for the Public Hearing. He pointed out the original By Law set these lots up with large squ~re footage as it had in mfnd there was no sewerage in the area. He also stated no one appeared before the Board as a petitioner for the chan~e. ]~rs, J. Elaine Griffin asia:ed the pru~:~ose of th~ s proposed change. l,lr. Bannan exolsined to the group that he had been approached by several people in the Town and ths~ was the reason he petitioned for the change. A lengthy discussion was held on the proposed chanEe in rezoning and who petitioned for same. ~ vote was ta en of those in favor of the proposed change. The vote was 20 opposing and 0 in favor. l~fr, Nicetta moved that no furth~r action be taken on this hearing or at any special or annual Town?!eetings, ~r. Osgocd seconded the motion. Vote: ~ir. OSgood and Mr. ~icetta in favor. Mr. Gilman, i~fr. Barman, and }~. Burke opposing. ~,fr, Gilman move~ to take the ~atter o~n~]er advise~ent, l, lr. Burke seconed the motion.
