Regular Meeting
The regular monthly meeting of the Planning Board was held on Monday, Deeember 5, 1960
at the Town Office Building. Members present and voting were: James M. Bannans
Chairman, Robert Burke, Secretary, Nicholas F. NicettasHowar~ Gilman and George Farley.
Attorney Hatch appeared befere the Board and asked that the restrictions imposed on
Sherweed Homes' Plan 4154 be released. A letter was written te this effect te Sherwood
Ho~e $.
Mr. Sid Rea, George Hayes and Mr. McKay of McKay Construction Gompany appeared before
the Board with preliminary plans of land they wished to subdivide. A discussion was held om
the requirements of a Sub-division. Mr. Nicetta moved a Public Hearing be held em
Januery 9, 1961 at 8:00 PM. Mr. Burke seconded the motion. Uaanimous vote.
A discussion was held em whether additiomal funds should be asked for at the Annual
Town Meeting for the rezoning of lots imto Village Residential as recommemded by
National Plamuimg & Research.
Mr. Burke moved to see if the Town Engineer could ma~emapa shewing the Bear~where
sewerage is available and has been extended im order to help the Board make recemmemdationa
for rezoning. Mr. Gi~m-m seconded the motion. Unanimous vote. Mr. Bannam said he would
check on this.
Mr. Nicetta said he felt this information could be had by asking the Beard of Public
WorKs. He also stated he felt if anyone if interested enough in extemding sewerage they
should present this at Town Meeting themselves.
Mr. Gilman said he felt the Board should present such an article as this is "progress."

Mr. Burke moved the meeting adjourn at 9:05 PM. Mr. Gilman seconded the motion.
