To that end,the North Andover Division of Public Works will perform the following activities and inspections on a continuing annual _ basis: I. The Foster Farms Soccer Fields have already been added to that schedule. The North Andover Soccer Association also hires outside contractors to assist with and augment our normal upkeep of the facility and they will be forwarded a copy of all maintenance procedures in order to comply with the efforts of the approved Operation and Maintenance Plans. Maintenance includes: I. Regular(weekly)trash pick-up and litter removal. 2. Extra trash removal as needed or following large events. 3. Mowing and irrigating as required. There are 2 certified vernal pools and no mowing or fertilization is to take place inside the associated setbacks(50'No Disturbance Zone for vernal pools and 25'No Disturbance Zone associated with BVW). Mowing/maintenance(landscaping, grading, vegetation removal, pruning, deposition of grass clippings, filling, or excavating)of any kind is strictly prohibited in these areas. No pesticides or herbicides will be used inside the buffer zones and any fertilizer used will be no more than 5%nitrogen. 4. Catch basin maintenance as part of the town stormwater maintenance program. This site will include twice-yearly clearing of sumps and visual inspection for deterioration or failure. Inspections will also occur after large storm events. 5. Portable toilets will be placed outside the 100' buffer during the soccer season. These will be maintained weekly as well as after periods of high usage. 6.
