HomeMy WebLinkAbout1964-02-03Moaday - February 3, 196& Regular Meeting · The PI~-~-~ Board held their regular meeting on Monday evening, February 3, 196_4. at 7:30 P.M. *- the Town B-~4-g with the following members present: Jamas ~ Banuen, Chairman; George Farley and W~ll~a Chepulis. ~r. Sidney Rea, Glen MaCKay ox' ~acKay Construction Co. and Mr. Crawferd, enginee~ froa the George ~ayes office ~ present with Preliminary plans for .a sub-division development off Winter Street and Dale Street. The-development contains appro~- 58 lots, each the necessary acre or nors. Parts of some lots go into Boxford. The Boxford P~--~ng Board ~l Be contacted as to their requirements, etc. The developer will get easements where the brooks ~:~ into the lots. The cost of tho houses will range frem $30,~00 to $~0,000. They will do whatever the Board says regarding the roads. They Mill hot-top the roads if ~he Board re.aires them to. The roads ~ he 45 feet wide. The Board set the hear~_~g date for March 2, 1964 at 7:30 P.M. Mr. Chepulis added that the definitive plan has to Be stamped both by a Registered Professional Engineer and Land Su~,eyor. MEADOW LANE: Atty. ~ohn Willis appeared before the Board to speak about Meadow T.,,.. aceeptanea. He said Merrimack Fav~.~ has to put the f~n~shed coat c~ to complete the Job. It can't Be completed until after to~n meting, Because of the weather. chair.~- B~-au said he would check with To~n Cov~sel as to what proof or guarantee we will have that the road will he TO~N M~.~TING AI~ICLE: The Board discussed the hearing to 'he held for Angus Realty to re-zc~e land to Business on 0sgced Street. A letter will be sent to Town Counsel asking h~m to inform us whether a unan~s vote or a ~Jority vote of the Board is necessary in order to allow an article, that was defeated at To~n Meeting, to appear on the warrant again in a year's period.
