HomeMy WebLinkAbout1966-10-03Monday- October 3, 1966 Regular Meeting The Planning Board held their regular meeting on N~nday evening, October 3, 1966 at 7:30 P.M. in the Town Office Building. The following members were present and voting: William Chepulis, Jr., Chairman; Howard Gil~n, Secretary and George B. Farley. Mr. Barman arrived later. Mr. Burke did not attend. Atty. Harold Morley appeared before the Board with plans fo~ them to sign as not requiring Planning Board approval under the subdivision Control Laws. Had been approved by the Board of Appeals and needs to be registered in Land Court. A discussion was held regarding Land Co-art. The clerk will write to Chief Engineer of Land Col~rt, Court House, Boston for a copy of "Lend Court Instructions" for plans. Mr. Chepnq~s signed the necessary plans. He also signed plans for William Finneran. Letters of approval~were received from the Highway Dept. and Board of Public Works regarding the Sylvan Terre~e subdivision. After a thorough discussioxx, the plans were signed. An Amendment to the decision will be m~de to cover the changes made in the original plans. The changes include the conveyance of a small parcel of land and minor changes in drainage. O. LD N,A, REALTY TRUST (Coachmen's Forest and Village Green Estates) A letter was received from Atty. Victor Hatem regarding releases for Coachman's Forest. A letter was read from B.P.W. saying road not satisfactory at Great Pond Rd. There was a note from the High~ay Dept. saying they had not been con~ tacted in t~me to e~m~ne the roadway. There was a discussion held regarding the releases, conditions, etc. There was also a letter from Atty. Hatem asking for the release of the bank book on Village Green Estates. The Board needs more t~*ormation from the Board of Public Works and Highway Dept. about Village Green Estates. A discussion was also held regarding this particular release. Mr. Barman made a motion to take these two matters up at the next regular meeting. Mr. G~l~n seconded the motion and the vote was un--~mous. A letter w~11 be sent to Atty. Hatem to attend the next meeting. The Modification for Morningside has been recorded and a copy will be ~ede for our files before it is filed with the Town Treasurer. Mr. Bannan made a motion that the Chairm~_n sign modifications. Plaus w~re also submitted showing the modification of lots - which~,Mere signed by the Board. MASS. FED. OF PLANNING BOARDS: Mr. Bannan made a motion that th~ Chairman attend the Oct. 29 meeting of the Mass. Federation of Planning Boards. Mr. G~lman seconded the motion and the vote was unanimous. Registration dues and travelling expenses will be taken out of Pl~n~iug Board expenses. October 3, 1966 - Cont. Mr. Bar&nan said that he ~ants to get off the Capital Outlay Committee. The Board will wait until the next meeting when all members are present. The Clerk has been appointed a Notary Public and the Board voted that the Notary Public expenses (license and seal) be taken out of the Planning Board expenses. The meeting adjourned at 10:30 P.M. ....... ? Clerk
