Special Meeting
The PLANNIt1] BOARD held a special meeting on Monday evening, Sugust 25, 1969
at 7:30 P.M. in the Town Office Build~-ng with the following members present:
William Chepulis, Jr. t Chairman; Robert J. Burke~ George B. Farley, Charles W.
Trombly, Jr. and Donald N. Keirstead. This meeting was called for the purpose of
interviewing planning consultants as required under the 701 Program for a master
plan.
INTERVIEW: 1. Charles Downe Associates.
Mr. Paul D. Manning and Mr. Chad Moore~.were present as representing Charles
Downe Associates, 950 Watertown St., West Newton, Mass.
Proposals were submitted to the Board and the various members asked questions of
the consultants. They also submitted copies of reports they have made for other
communities.
INTERVIEW: 2. Community Planning Services (Division of Alonzo B. Reed). (8:55 P.M.)
Mr. John Atwood and Bob Lovinger were present as representing Community
Planning Services, 3 Boylston Place, Boston, Mass.
Proposals were submitted to the Board and the various members asked questions of
the consultants.
The meeting adjourned at 10:30 P.M.

Special Meeting
The PLANNING BOARD held a special meeting on Wednesday evening, August 27t
1969 at 7:30 P.M. in the Town Office Building with the following members present:
William Chepulis, Jr., Chairman; Robert J. Burke~ George V. Farley and Donald N.
Keirstead. Charles W. Trombly, Jr. was unable to attend.
This meeting was called for the purpose of interviewing planning consultants.
1. INTERVIEW: John A. Brown (8:00 P.M.)
Mr. John A. Brown discussed with the Board his qualifications and possible
ways of handling North Andover's problems. Mr. Chepulis explained just what
the Board expects of the planners and what they would want ultimately.
