Special Meeting
The PLANNING BOARD held a special meeting on Monday evening, November 16,
1970 at 7:30 P.M. in the Town Office BulldOg with the following members present
and voting: William Chepulis, Jr., Chairman; Charles W. Trombly, Jr., M. Chmn.~
John J. Monteiro, Secretary; Robert J. Burke and Donald N. Keirstead.
This meeting was called for the purpose of further discussion of the draft of the
Subdivision Rules and Regulations.
LAND COURT:
A letter had been received from Land Court saying that the vote of requiring
any 3 members to sign plans not requiring Planning Board approval was not proper
since the original vote was not rescinded.
Mr. Keirstead made a motion to rescind the previous authorization to have any one
member sign plans for which Planning Board approval under the Subdivision Control
Law not required and submit in its place the requirement that a majority of the
Board must sign such plans$ to be effective December l, 1970.
Mr. Monteiro seconded the motion and the vote was ~-1 in favor of the motion. Mr.
Burke voted no.
The Board then spent the remainder of the evening discussing the draft of the
Subdivision Rules and Regulations.
Mrs. Donahue was unable to attend and Mr. Monteiro made the necessary notations.
The meeting adjourned at 10:15 P.M.
