Special Meeting
The PLANNIN~ BOARD held a Special Meeting on Wednesday evening, June 30, 1971
at 7:00 P.M. in the Town Office Building with the following members present and
voting: Charles W. Trombly, Jr., Chairman and Donald N. Keirstead, Vice Chairman.
Robert J. Burke arrived later. Bill Plante, E-T reporter was present.
This meeting was called in order that the Board may vote on the recommended changes
in the Phase II program, which were discussed at a special meetingheld on June 22nd.
It was necessary to do this as quickly as possible in order for the Phase II program
to be started soon.
Tom Broad_head, Chairman of the Conservation Commission was present and requested the
Board to allow Robert Morehouse of the Soil Conservation Service, Dept. of Agriculture,
to appear before the Board at its next regular meeting to discuss the Soil Survey
which has just been completed by that department for the town. The Conservation
Commission and PAC will also be invited to attend the meeting to hear the report.
When Mr. Burke arrived, the Board discussed the changes made and made several more
minor changes. Mr. Keirstead made a motion to adopt Phase II with the changes
suggested, Mr. Trombly seconded the motion and the vote was unanimoust 3 - O.
The meeting adjourned at 8:0OPEN.
