Special Meeting
The PLANNING BOARD held a special meeting on Monday evening, October 15, 1973
at 7:OOP.M. in the Town Office Building meeting room. The follow~g members were
present and voting: William Chepulis, Chairman; John J. Monteiro, Vice Chairman;
and Paul R. L~mprey, Clerk. Mr. Ostherr and Mr. Keirstead were unable to attend.
Mr. Chepulis explained that this meeting was called to take action on plans sub-
mitted as not requiring approval under the Subdivision Control Law~ concerning
J. P. Stevens and Davis & Furber Machine Company. The plan was submitted to the
Board on October l, 1973 and the only signature on the application was that of
Atty. Clifford Elias for J. P. Stevens Company for a right-of-way across Davis &
Furber land. It was the opinion and decision of the Board at that time that the
submission was improper because the applicant was not the owner of the land.

Clerk's copy. He was askod to resulmit tho app~'Leation and Atty. Rl~as said it
Wou~d not be necessary to resubmit or chan~e the date of sub,asSn.
The Board d~senosed whether or not to s~n the p~n. Hr. Hontoiro sold he vas
hesitint in trustin~ Dawta & Yurber because they heys not been very honest in
the past in other deaLtn~ with town beards.

Hr. Lubin was prosent and spoke to the Board about the plans he had sub~Ltted at
the ~ov~ou$ meot~ as not r~l~ &~FOV$~, for lots on ~urrey Drive and
Chadwick Street. He had been notified that the lot did not show 8uffielont frontate
beeause of ~he arc at the corner of the lot. l~s enAineer said the Res~ry would
not accept a p~an shov'J.n~ the ~ drawn in the way the Board requested and that
the f~ures shown on tho plan most the ~equired frontage.
The Board discussed the utter. Hr. Lamprey made a notien to sign the plan as not
roquiring approvalj Hr. Nonteiro coeonded the motion _.n~ the vote was unanimous.
