Regular Meeting
The BOARD OF APPEALS held their regular meeting on Monday evening, March 8,
1971 in the Town Office Building with the following members present: Arthur R.
Drummond, Chairman; Philip Arsenault, Esq.; Dr. Eugene Beliveau and newly
appointed member Kenneth Pickard.
LETTER OF P~SIGNATION:
A letter of resignation was received from Donald J. Scott. His term
expires this year and due to his employment responsibilities he could not
continue to serve on the Board. The Board members recognized his services to
the Board and accepted the resignation with regret.
FLATLEY APARTMENTS:
The Board discussed Mr. Flatley's request to accelerate the building
program of his apartment development. Members Beliveau and Pickard read the
original decision to familiarize themselves with the case.
All of the members feel that a public hearingshould be held and the abutters
notified.
Mr. Pickard made a motion to hold a public hearing; Dr. Beliveau seconded the
motion and the vote was unanimous.
A letter will be sent to Atty. Willis notifying him of the Board's decision to
hold a public hearLug and then await final word from him as to his wishes.
The meeting adjourned at 8:00 P.M.
