It was moved, seconded and VOTED that the Board reconsider its recommendation on the proposed street
acceptances of Jerad Place, Sugarcane Lane, Candlestick Rd. I and Candlestick Rd. II as voted May 6,
1996. It was explained that the Planning Bd.'s concerns had been addressed by the developer and they
were now recommending acceptance.
It was moved, seconded, and VOTED that the Board of Selectmen recommend favorably on the
acceptance of Jerad Place, Sugarcane Lane, Candlestick Rd. I and Candlestick Rd. II.
Reconsideration of Street Acceptances: Article 35: Blue Ridge Rd.
South Bradford St.
Lancaster Rd.
It was moved, seconded and VOTED that the Board reconsider its recommendation on the proposed street
acceptances of Blue Ridge Rd., South Bradford St., and Lancaster Rd as voted May 6, 1996. It was
explained that the Planning Bd. Had changed its recommendation from favorable to unfavorable.
It was moved, seconded, and VOTED that the Board of Selectmen recommend favorably on the
acceptance of Blue Ridge Rd., South Bradford St., and Lancaster Rd.
Article 38-44 -Acquisition of Easements
The Board had previously deferred action on these articles because of concerns over the use of eminent
domain. Mr. Leeman explained that the articles were worded such that they authorized the continuation
of negotiations and did not mandate the use of eminent domain. It was moved, seconded and VOTED
that the Board of Selectmen recommend favorably on Articles 38 -44 relative to authorizing the
acceptance of sewer easements.
